Maria McGervey is the artist behind the "Sunflower Mary" who always had a passion for arts and crafts. She showed off her skills early as a child and never stopped creating since then. Woodburning came into her life spontaneously when she decided to try out her husband's woodburning tool who is also a woodburning artist for over 20 years. Maria loves creating unique, one of a kind pieces, focusing mostly on wooden plaques, boxes, and ukuleles but always enjoys the challenge of experimenting on different types of media.
